Generate with Kling 3.0 ↗01 / Current site workflow
Generate with Kling 3.0 on This Site
On Kling 4.0, the available generator currently uses Kling 3.0. These steps describe its actual text and single-image controls. If you are researching how to use Kling 4.0 itself, read the official features and site availability overview and the official Kling 4.0 announcement for its new creation interface and model specifications.
- 01
Choose your mode and model
Open the Kling 3.0 generator. Choose Text to Video to create a scene from words, or Image to Video to animate a still. Select Standard or Pro and review the credit estimate.
- 02
Add your prompt or source image
For text, describe the subject, setting, action, and camera movement. For image mode, upload one JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 10 MB. An image prompt is optional, but a clear motion instruction helps express what you want to change.
- 03
Choose duration and framing
Select 5 or 10 seconds. Text mode offers 16:9 for wide scenes, 9:16 for vertical social clips, and 1:1 for square compositions. Image mode uses the source image’s framing, so crop your image before uploading it.
- 04
Generate, preview, and save
Select Generate and sign in if prompted. Once your account balance loads, select Generate again to submit. Follow your task in Output Preview, play the completed video, and use Open / download video to open the file and save it from your browser.
02 / Inputs
Text or Image: Which Should You Use?
Use text for a new scene you can describe clearly. Use an image when you already have the appearance, composition, or product you want to animate. Keep the source image simple and make the main subject easy to recognize.
| Mode | Best for | Prompt focus |
|---|---|---|
| Text to Video | New scenes, cinematic ideas, and visual concepts | Subject, setting, action, lighting, and camera |
| Image to Video | Animating a photograph, product still, or illustration | Motion, camera behavior, and details to preserve |
For image mode, prepare the crop for your final platform. A wide still works for a landscape or a presentation; a vertical still leaves more room for a standing subject on a phone screen.
03 / Better prompts
Write a Clear Video Prompt
Give the shot one main event. Name the subject, describe a concrete action, and choose one camera movement. Add the visual details that should remain stable. Avoid packing unrelated locations or several scene changes into a short clip.
Text-to-video prompt example
A cyclist in a yellow raincoat rides past a quiet city café at dusk. The camera holds a steady street-level side view as the cyclist crosses the frame. Keep the warm window lights steady throughout the shot.
- Subject
- A cyclist in a yellow raincoat
- Action
- Rides past the café
- Camera
- Steady side view
- Keep stable
- Window lighting and background geometry
For image-to-video, focus on movement
Try: “The person slowly turns toward the window. A light breeze moves their coat. The camera makes a gentle push-in. Preserve the face, clothing, and room layout.” Your source image already establishes the appearance, so focus the words on what happens next.
Improve one element at a time
Review the entire video for subject details, natural motion, framing, and a clear ending. If you want a different result, change one instruction—such as the action, lighting, or camera distance—before generating another version.
04 / Results and credits
Preview Your Video and Manage Credits
Output Preview shows the selected task while it is creating your video. The progress indicator is an estimate. When the task finishes, the player displays the returned clip. Use Recent videos to switch between tasks created during your session.
If a task fails, try again or contact support@kling40ai.com with its task ID. Keep that ID when asking about a missing result or account charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Kling 4.0 here?
Kling 4.0 has been officially released, but this site has not connected it. The practical steps on this page use the current Kling 3.0 Standard and Pro generator, not a Kling 4.0 workflow.
Which duration and aspect ratios can I choose?
Choose 5 or 10 seconds. Text-to-video supports 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1. Image-to-video follows the source image’s aspect ratio.
Which images can I upload?
Upload one JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 10 MB. Use a clear source image you have permission to use. Multiple references and end frames are not available in this generator.
How many credits does a video use?
Without sound, Standard uses 8 credits per second and Pro uses 10. A 5-second video costs 40 or 50 credits; a 10-second video costs 80 or 100 credits.
How do I buy more credits?
Choose a pack on the Pricing page and follow the email purchase instructions. Online payments are temporarily unavailable. Include your account email and chosen pack in your message.
Does this generator include audio?
The current Standard and Pro workflows generate videos without sound. Add music, voiceover, or dialogue afterward in your video editor.
